Energy is the "stuff" that allows us to work – a transfer of energy. For this Unit there are four types of energy that you need to know: Kinetic Energy(K_e), Gravitational potential energy(U_g), elastic potential energy(U_s), and internal energy(U_int).

Kinetic Energy (KE) = (1/2)*mv^2
Gravitational Potential Energy (Ug) = mass * g * height = mgh
Elastic Potential Energy = 1/2 * k * x^2
Work = Force parallel to the incline * distance = Force(cos(x)) * distance, where cos x is the angle from the object being pulled to the horizontal parallel to the incline
